Dr. Neuman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2004. Her special areas of interest are emergency medicine, internal medicine, and endocrinology, with an emphasis on client-oriented services. In her long-ago life, she was a writer, a customer service agent, and even managed a movie theater. She then spent several years working as a veterinary technician before deciding to pursue a career as a veterinarian. She has been married for almost twenty years, has three children, and shares her home with two dogs and a revolving door of foster animals. Her devotion to her own family and pets help keep her focused on the need to make veterinary care a family-oriented service for the members of her community.
Dr. Rebecca Laton graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She worked in Alexandria, Minnesota for several years in a mixed animal practice. For her first few years, she worked with dairy, elk, small ruminants and small animals. Dr. Laton transitioned to small animal medicine exclusively by her fifth year in practice. Dr. Laton has been in Tucson since 2010 and joined Dove Mountain Veterinary Center in 2012. When not working, Dr. Laton spends her time enjoying her 2 adopted daughters from China. She also loves to travel, quilt and read.
Dr. Brittney Carpenter has spent her veterinary career in small animal general practice here in Tucson. She is a 2006 graduate of our very own University of Arizona, and went on to receive her DVM degree from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Her special interests include ultrasonography, wound management, physical rehabilitation, and internal medicine. When not working with patients at the clinic, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending fun times with her family- two daughters, two huskies, and a few cats.
Dr. Campbell earned her B.S in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona while working as a veterinary technician full time. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies in the Caribbean, and completed her clinical year at Texas A & M School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 to earn her DVM. She practiced mixed animal medicine in Show Low, Arizona, and now has relocated to Marana with her family. Dr. Campbell enjoys collegiate/professional basketball and football and spending time with her husband, son, and family.
Dr. Nicolette Gamez is a 4th generation Arizona native. She received her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona and went on to Veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2012. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Gamez has special interests in internal medicine, dentistry, and ultrasound. On her days off she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and kids. Her animal crew consists of her 3 dogs, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, and a rabbit.
Dr. Madi Horton completed her B.S. in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona before earning her DVM from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Tucson to begin her career in the sunshine. Her special interests include surgery, behavior, and preventive medicine. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Horton enjoys playing and cuddling with her two newly adopted kittens, reading anything she can get her hands on, and spending too much time outside in the sun.

Danielle Martino was raised in New Jersey, then relocated to Sedona, then Tucson in 2010. Not only is she the trainer and manager of our client services department, but she is also a veterinary assistant. Danielle graduated from the Carrington College Veterinary Assistant program in 2011. When she is not at work she is spending time with her daughter, and two, four-legged family members: Dolce and McNabb. Danielle always has a cheerful smile and particularly enjoys the surgerical area of study.
Amanda has worked at Dove Mountain Veterinary since opening day in April 2017. Along with her technician duties, she is also one of our technician trainers who provides knowledge and expertise to our new employees. Amanda is a graduate of the veterinary assistant program at Pima Medical Institute and says she continues to learn something new every day. She shares her home with two very fluffy dogs named Boo Boo and Sprocket, and her cat Clarence.
Sandra became a part of the Dove Mountain family in 2018 and has brought a large knowledge of human resource management experience. Sandra was previously working in human health care but has found her passion in the veterinary world. When Sandra is not at work, you can find her with her husband and 3 German Shorthaired Pointers (aka the triplets) enjoying the beautiful Arizona desert.
Angela is a born and raised Tucsonan who joined the Dove Mountain team in September 2017. She graduated from Apollo college in 2006 and recently obtained her Associates of Science from Pima Community College. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family which includes her husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Heather has been with our team for four years. Before coming to us she worked in human medicine at a variety of different assisted living homes for 16 years. Once Heather decided to go to college and follow her passion, she completed the assistant program and got her veterinary assistant certificates as well as completing the technician program and graduating with her associates degree. Heather has worked in different departments at Dove Mountain Veterinary but for the past two years has been Dr.Gamez’s room tech. Heather has passed the AZ state test but her ultimate goal is to pass the federal test (VTNE). When not at work you can find Heather, her husband of 13 years, three amazing children and 2 dogs that have completely stolen their hearts, packing a lunch and taking their truck out to Arizona trails and exploring what our beautiful state has to offer. Their family adventure goal is to camp on Five Ghost Town Trail in Tombstone and explore the abandoned towns from the 1900s!
Kelly is an outgoing and friendly person who is always striving to be better in everything she does. Kelly strives to be able to show her daughter that even as a single mom you can do anything you set your mind to! Kelly loves animals and has grown up around all kinds of species and has had many different kinds of pets growing up and loved caring for each one of them. Kelly is a hard worker, always willing to learn new things, to continue to better herself and grow in the Veterinary field.

Dominique was born and raised a Tucson native! Dom started her career path in Human Medicine for seven years then switched over to Veterinary Medicine a little over four years ago! In 2020 she graduated Pima Community College with her Associate’s of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. After taking her National/State exams, she became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Dom has always had a passion for helping animals since being a little girl and strives every day to do what’s best for the voiceless! Dom always enjoys learning something new to keep her mind healthy and to give off good client information. When not working she spends time with my eleven pet kids (two dogs, seven cats, a cockatiel and a russian tortoise) at our house, with my family and friends, or just staying busy with life!
Ayianna is a native of Tucson graduated from Santa Rita High School and went on to receive her certificate of Veterinary Assistant from Pima Medical Institute. Ayianna’s love for animals and desire to care for them developed into my career path. She feels very fortunate to be working with animals in this rewarding job. Outside of work Ayianna enjoys spending time with family, friends, and fur baby Luna who is always by her side and traveling whenever possible.
Aubrey grew up in Tucson and has always had a passion for animals. Ever since she was little she knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field. Aubrey has worked hard to make it through the tech program while having 2 kids along the way. She received my associates of applied science degree in 2021 despite the pandemic Aubry completed both her externships at Dove Mountain and we are very excited to have her a part of the team. When Aubrey is not working you can find her spending time with her husband, her two children and two fur-babies!
Molly was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Ca. Moved to Tucson in 2017 with her fiancé, Preston, and 5-year-old daughter, Stella. Molly has been in the veterinary field for 13 years and helping animals has always been her passion. In her free time, Molly enjoys spending time with family, going on walks with my dog, and doing puzzles.
Satoko is originally from Osaka, Japan. She graduated from the Animal Behavior College in California in 2017 with her certification as a Veterinary Assistant. Satoko joined our staff in February 2018. When she’s not here spending time with our boarding pets, Satoko is at home spending time with her two teenagers, her dog, and her rabbit.
Emely was born and raised in Tucson. She went to Pima JTED where they offer tuition-free CTE programs during her junior and senior years. There she took Veterinary Science and was able to get her AVA credentials. Emely hopes to continue her education in the veterinary field. In her free time she enjoys gardening, embroidery, and spending time with her pets and family.
Jarrad was born and raised in Tucson. He attended Universal Technical Institute for collision repair and refinishing and is currently finishing his associates degree at Pima. Jarrad has always had a special affinity with animals since a young age. His love for cats and dogs keeps him enjoying his job every day! In his free time Jarrad can be found spending time with his son, or relaxing with his cat and two dogs.

Shelbi is a local Tucsonan. Not only is she one of our client services representatives, but she is also a certified veterinary assistant. She is a cancer survivor and is a childhood cancer advocate. Shelbi grew up around racecars and loves to watch and participate in dirt track racing. When Shelbi is not working you can find her with her Jack Russel, Yager, and her recent addition, Ella Jane!

Meagan joined our Customer Service team early this year. She has a great positive way of helping out patients when they come to the clinic. In her free time, Meagan and Zero (her four-legged family member) like to take drives to Mt. Lemmon, Redington Pass, and especially to her family’s ranch in Arizona.

Kelly grew up in East County San Diego and moved to Tucson in 2014. Kelly received her veterinary certificate in 2005 but took some time off to raise a family. When Kelly is not working she enjoys time with her husband, four kids, three cats, and Chihuahua. Kelly’s hobbies include writing, painting, reading, and playing the Sims.
