At the Dove Mountain Veterinary, we are proud to have a highly trained veterinarian team in Marana. Some of the members of our team include:
Beth Neuman, DVM
Dr. Neuman attended the University of Minnesota, graduating from this fine institution with her degree in vet medicine in 2004. Since then, she has honed her interests and specializes in a variety of areas of vet care. These include emergency medicine, internal medicine, as well as endocrinology. She has been married for nearly twenty years and has three children as well as two dogs and a variety of foster animals.
Rebecca Laton, DVM
Dr. Laton is one of the most experienced members of our team, graduating from the University of Minnesota back in 1999. She worked in Alexandria for a few years with elk, ruminants, and small animals before she moved to Tucson in 2010. Then, she joined the team at Dove Mountain Veterinary in 2012. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her two adopted daughters, quilting, and reading.
Brittany Carpenter, DVM
Dr. Carpenter graduated from the University of Arizona in 2006 and immediately went on to receive her degree in veterinary medicine in 2010. She is interested in physical rehabilitation, internal medicine, wound management, and ultrasonography. She joined us after graduating from Washington State College of Vet Medicine. When she isn’t working hard at the office, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, two huskies, and a few cats.
Janelle Campbell, DVM
Dr. Campbell earned her Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science at the University of Arizona while she continued to work full-time as a vet tech. She went on to earn her DVM degree in the Caribbean at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. She completed her clinical work at Texas A&M School of Vet Medicine. She graduated in 2013. She enjoyed her time working with mixed animals before she moved to join us at Dove Mountain Veterinary. She enjoys sports, such as basketball and football, in addition to spending time with family.
Elsa Swenson, DVM
Dr. Swenson earned her degree in vet medicine from Iowa State College in 2007. She then moved to Tucson for an internship in exotic animals. She is also a member of the National Vet Response Team. She enjoys surgery, pocket pet medicine, and preventative medicine. When she isn’t working, she likes to hike, travel, and spend time with family. You may even see her playing with various soccer recreation leagues.
Dr. Gamez earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and went on to earn her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State. When she isn’t working, she likes to spend time with her family, and animal crew of dogs, miniature hose and donkey, and a rabbit.
Dr. Madi Horton completed her B.S. in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona before earning her DVM from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Tucson to begin her career in the sunshine. Her special interests include surgery, behavior, and preventive medicine. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Horton enjoys playing and cuddling with her two newly adopted kittens, reading anything she can get her hands on, and spending too much time outside in the sun.
